About djuko
djuko is a platform for paid song requests at live events: fans scan a DJ's QR code, pick any track on Spotify and pay to request it — the DJ accepts or declines in real time, and declined requests are refunded automatically.
Who is behind djuko?
djuko is built and operated by Raphaël Veron, an independent software developer registered as a sole proprietor (auto-entrepreneur) in France. It is a small, independent product — no agency, no outsourced support. Questions and feedback land directly with the person who builds the platform: hello@djuko.app.
Why djuko exists
Song requests at events are usually a mess: shouted over the booth, scribbled on napkins, or paid for with a tip that comes with no guarantee. djuko structures the exchange so it's fair on both sides — the DJ gets paid for the requests they take, and the fan automatically gets their money back when a request isn't played. Our comparison of the three approaches is in this guide.
How the money flows
Payments are processed by Stripeand go directly to each DJ's own Stripe account — djuko never holds your money. The platform takes a 20% fee per transaction, with no subscription and no monthly fees. If a DJ declines a request or doesn't respond within 24 hours, the fan is refunded in full, automatically. Full details are in our Terms of Service.
Where we operate
djuko is based in France and works anywhere Stripe supports DJ payouts. The platform is in English today; French and Spanish are planned. Data is hosted in the EU — see the Privacy Policy for specifics.
