FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is djuko?

djuko is a platform for paid song requests at live events. Fans scan the DJ's QR code, search any song on Spotify, and pay to request it. The DJ sees the request instantly and accepts or declines in real time.

How much does it cost to request a song?

Each DJ sets their own price per request, shown on their request page before you pay. You can also add an optional tip. Payment is processed securely by Stripe — djuko never stores your card details.

What happens if the DJ declines my request?

You are refunded automatically and in full, immediately. If the DJ doesn't respond within 24 hours, the request expires and is also refunded automatically. You never pay for a song that isn't played.

How do DJs get paid?

Payments go directly to the DJ's own Stripe account. DJs keep 80% of each request — djuko takes a 20% platform fee per transaction, with no subscription and no monthly fees. Stripe handles payouts to the DJ's bank account.

What do I need to start as a DJ?

A free account and a Stripe account, which you connect during signup in a few minutes. You get a personal QR code and link to share at your events, set your own price per request, and manage requests live from your dashboard.
